I saw my daughter back off to University today and the house tonight is sooooo quiet ! Mind you at least I am now getting started on some things that I am very behind with ! I have quite a few craft projects in hand including some wedding invites for my niece. I must take a moment to thank everyone for their birthday wishes yesterday. I had a great day, especially seeing as John is still the other side of the Atlantic! <div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>I have had some real trouble with the background of my blog, so please excuse any error on it now! I have had to change it to one I am not completely keen on for the time being and sometime I will get round to sorting it properly.</div><div></div><br /><div>What have I been making over the last 6 weeks or so? well the answer to that, is not a lot ! but I did make a very good friend a great Tinkerbell card and also used my newly acquired sewing skills to make a makeup bag. </div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508423361424185298" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhznrTwrec5KdKT5u4o4FyyseOyKWI2yLzilRVWiEh5Y2gIwT8oImVbrkkFR5vYgQ8irEKonnkBQRjtAnK23ALvWUkWC-vydxZflhFV7jYm6ZZEQyMAPCBYWhGypL8rpKkBVqvwJn7Hnw/s320/003+(3).JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508423950839088514" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVIJsTTFZJN6A-kDOtUYsbo_st_IjQZ31lJP4GOM3i8wTzIylfGyq808VjuzoxyDeCwLg_7tPnKm1pZP8-OjUQIF_BiVQk1_sdKOyFMvEvtkXfLzc9imNn2Kaxh0D6hifDhsXiKb0lqQ/s320/006+(3).JPG" /> <div></div><div></div><br /><div>The next birthday I had was for my Mum, its always so difficult to make for someone who is also so creative, well Mum and I share a love for dragonflies and butterflies so I found this great Inkadinkadoo stamp and went about making a card without my cricut! rare these days but I know Mum prefers my cards made from stamping and inks.</div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 236px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 318px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508425289003172098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtT6Ynu4hpvhOjbcXnD9oxUuUOIagUNl5bxsGoc4YIR3rMlxDn3uxbD4UwG-LFy9C1YGHnZ8oPFLBsXpKb2krUzE7-Hnlip3yrRhwKOE66OGWDhXI3vUokBDeTO9D67hnkeuPVI28Vvw/s320/003+(2).JPG" /> <div></div><br /><div>I also had a trip back to the UK since I last wrote this, and no trip home is made without a couple of handmade gifts, this time it was a clock for Freya and a tool box for Toby. I would like to think I can finally get to grips with writing this regularly but we will see.</div><br /><div>I have not done a whole lot of crafting over the last couple months but there are certainly a few bits I can put up here. Firstly there was Mothers Day, the 2 cards that follow are the ones I made for my Mum and my MIL. The Kimono one was made from the cricut cartridge 'Pagoda' and the butterflies are from 'Hannah Montana' I really never thought I would use a Hannah Montana cartridge, but as it came free with another I took it, and to be honest its probably one of my most used cartridges. I find the alphabet selection on it really good.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489491223879324978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcqbx7919TqtXr2A02yG5gdFKWUC-MaslEQ7oJ2SX0x1jrxnF9rk6O90wPimyOE7BOUK7vqsTbAqJV3zRLJzR1XgAk0vMQXlIEUSwMK_7JY6P1V2ctIlhaQB-u2wR-UVeduBPgM8ueLQ/s320/mothers+days+cards+and+pressies+003.jpg" /></div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489487074802861746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKPNvA_f6zJkDXLj8Jw3dy21dw0xp1Lz-hHV40ECz0DdnKWFK1zpOcoMpFm8j8GQA6Yvjsb8CjSU5O_ZDcLU7AwCUAjnbcip5SKl8vEckwSDT-HcvkjUTdtRDR8oA6oTDmlzTAONASYg/s320/mothers+days+cards+and+pressies+001.jpg" /></div><div>I made this next card, for one of my sisters who was so wonderful to me recently when she came over to Florida from the UK to look after me when I recently had some surgery. I will be eternally grateful to her for doing that. I was misbehaving for a while and not taking the right medications etc so my DH decided she had to put on her Matrons hat and sort me out! well she did and it is thanks to her that I made the recovery I did. The least I could do was to make her this card. For those of you have ever met my sister I obviously had to add some bling, hence the crystals on the Dr's bag!<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 217px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 306px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489494717664156978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnZa-0dX84_ihfZDXkTMwfjV-kLZnscXlSCCxG3uM04NlMs4SpcM2cG-Lbw5i321k75dKCG3hoYb_D8LaTsH8C5Hmhuqbs-V3DRgD6iRoEbrKjibtuLnHLW2cH4beM4kmx-lF4xaWmPw/s320/006.JPG" /></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p>Welcome to the family Alex John Wetherall! As you can see we had a new addition to the extended family, I think he is my DH 2nd cousin but I may be wrong. (someone will correct me I am sure if I am) I used the babygros / onsies from New Arrival and the letters are form HM (I think).</p><p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 313px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 189px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489490542895403122" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJucGBIeI_evMYxuMA3FGTAhRvkyhv86zZjl3eHLE0UCCfbFer8Aa9i0uFJJM4tCUSACyGCdlVMRyWtAvgcEMpeZ5S-rKFO37mKSDQR7XqCxQh5KmV2B5sI0zjAHHJrpYadhyphenhyphensAaJgjw/s320/alex.JPG" /></p><p>This last item is a real shocker to all of my family ! I have ALWAYS said I can't and I won't sew ! Well, my Mum came to visit ( another Florence Nightingale in my time of need) and for some reason I got a real urge to learn to sew! I don't know who was more surprised, My Mum, Me or John? We took a little trip to Walmart where I bought half and got gifted half (early b'day) the most basic sewing machine and some fabric. Once home I took my 1st lesson as a grown up and made this makeup bag, yes I actually made this ! I have already gone on and made another one the same, but Gator fabric and once Mum had gone home I followed her instructions and made myself a bag, A real over the shoulder bag. I am very happy to have started doing some sewing, BUT it will never take over my love of paper crafts and please don't ask me to hand sew, unless you want to hear me ********</p><p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 313px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 281px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489490863190549122" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe0d-iaY99vobxyiLTLqCPxhDzZOcyYeKsKl4LJqrWLkssgjdpKPNdVvRlE_pRCbt1qUTLkgOpWUPnN862vgvIkOgJyTXuknDoX43pXNYRWkfvNEYLp5pJ5CpTm-3zpB082Q0OfFP0sA/s320/001.JPG" />Well having finally got around to writing again, I guess I need to get this posted.</p><p>Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope to be back much sooner this time.</p><p>Sue</p><p> </p>suehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05026351753307683452noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8164282428134367843.post-39550339933542115132010-02-27T17:57:00.008-05:002010-02-27T18:31:31.045-05:00Craft Fair Preparations<div><div><div><div><div>Want to start this Blog of by wishing my Dad a very Happy 80th Birthday, sorry I can't be there but I will be thinking of you all day.<br /><br /><div>Just 1 month to go until my table at Celebration's Farmers market and craft Fair, YIKES ! Trying to spend lots of time preparing items to sell, so going to try and update this on a more regular basis to show you all what I'm making , now I have finally finished my 30 sock cupcakes!</div><div></div><br /><div>The challenge is making some things that are cheaper to buy rather than having a table full of expensive items that no-one can afford, but yet are still well made and good quality. I got round to writing this in less than a month this time ! Considering the month I have just had, that's quite an achievement. John is now living permanently in the UK to look or work and be there for his Mum. It has been a very long and hard decision to make, but we both feel its for the best and we know our love is strong enough for us to survive this. The plan is that early next year at the latest, I will join him back in the UK. It's going to be very hard for us but we can and will do it. I am already on count down till I see him, 72 days ! In the mean time I have also got a new job, I have moved from working at Epcot to one of the resort hotels. At the moment I am still in training but it is going well. I am hoping it will give me some great job skills for the move back to the UK and also a slightly more flexible schedule and therefore maybe some more time to craft !<br /><div><div><div><div><div><br /><div>I have been busy making lots of Small things ready for my craft fair, I think its important to have a variety of priced items and that way hopefully more will sell. I have been purchasing quite a few things from Michael's from their Dollar bins and then altering them. the 1st thing was these notebooks. I didn't like the pictures on the fronts so I cut out a variety of things using of course my trusty Cricut and went about changing them, added a bit of ribbon and there you have it, a small inexpensive gift. lets just hope they sell otherwise I have a lot of note taking to do !</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440021243486397874" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNfOC61_bcTlG14wENwNGXDyAQ9e_wswQKFl1WdU9eegh8uulWmE0TpdaYMRaFslwpVmeGtRvOAt4Bef104svdWxjRAsms3mGsJULlhn3gDWPObZPAqbGpfQl9syCl-shuJvLIyA7_UA/s320/cupcakes+005.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440021786652830946" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1DPjHD0j0h0HMiZ7xsWufnQEXzxjQLhVudS3CJvoSiko0R7gXN33bRdZU_8ZSNJBiN6SaogtKeIS6RSRhsP5cqCVHfEYxtRMqOL8TE4vAGf4ozMAZHIx_OV5Nui6d8c_Qw0FPPb46ug/s320/cupcakes+007.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440021487222990162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr22z72RaFLnIv_WsclofsFAt5QGoGlWASD1xXhAxiE3JtWOWSPNXfuoSmmf5rpzM8c3Ql5AhTq6HQBLxG54Xl5O3MVihY_CEOrC-mLURr4RM_-w6a2X6FMcnpIRfoWEy-ZCn1ExDNvw/s320/cupcakes+008.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>Cupcakes! what a big thing they have become, so I have jumped on the band wagon and made some of these adorable sock cupcakes. I got the idea from the cricut website (I think from green bean) and have fallen in love with them. I had one made when a friend popped by and bought it straight away! I had to search hard for more socks as the shops around here are now out of wintry things but finally got some at my local M's and went ahead and made these this morning. They are just SO easy to make, the hardest part was getting the film to sit nicely around them. I see making quite a few more of these.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440022033268792690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYlP1oKSRS07JVFvGKzD752qDS4HzkYDPBFDn17mFKfgViEpKROQv-2PzJoo0cj1gDz29izrvbooXegKkxVi-X6__GKib9D59IpWSMvgi3BAX3Bq_mXBcEKsTzdeLusoOQwCuNTGd3xQ/s320/cupcakes+002.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440022229261701074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLgXjfzL-OQoe65sAER6P_ihMt_yHH1RWAyyFrLCpK5w00oAfSc8_iGPsGwSA_wext7nKipvE12irB6IlZgd7182mzqZ1QKmz68HBT_TdyeKfkXBK2S7uY5BpFr_8r-R7Vw0CI_GR5zQ/s320/cupcakes+004.jpg" border="0" /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440022475463612930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmC0g88EOP74P_jtgookzzU_D0zQWH0jfopZC7dT4pB3FLBH0q7YbWiu0v3w6LcN6R62N04z2uijvefT03QRopx5aZ6ThkmGqoQqN0dphPQdtCF5nHm2OXasr9FjAY0lTwQSIUV3U0kw/s320/cupcakes+011.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>Lastly I made a couple more Hello Kitty bits but they have sold before I can get pictures of them up here. It has been a weird month so far with record cold temperatures here in Florida and more snow than I have ever seen back in the UK, maybe there is more to the changing weather climates than we all care to think about. Along with the cold weather everyone seems to be suffering with the sniffles, to those who are unwell I hope you soon feel better. My DH, John has now gone back to the UK for a month to sort a few things out, boy am I missing him. you would think it would give me so much more time to write this and and to craft but somehow I keep filling my days and I'm not really sure what with. Unusually for me I have been going to the gym and doing some exercise at home and I have been starting to prepare for doing my 1st ever 5k fun run. Well for those who know me well, you will understand this is a big achievement for me that I am even able to contemplate it, lets hope I can actually do it. <div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>I have made a decision to finally really work on getting my business working and the 1st step is to take some things along to a Farmers market / arts and crafts fair that is nearby every Sunday so I am starting to work on products for that. </div><div></div><br /><div>The 1st few pictures are of some glass etching I have been doing using the Cricut to cut the stencils, it is really easy to do and so effective.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431573053789024018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-rYPh4DIu5MKdzk7va_47IqhLm3K4pyl4LWp6ml0UhKuRDCeB2X3P7C3dnc8QJZwdKQx3mRyg9IY2uhlTwAjcUbz7cmTAzwgFBQlB66dAqRVgM5or-lxHCdVreqruIjoH1N79huYJ5A/s320/craft+fair+003.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431574989239826642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4WbIT5t9mvMu0YReQrWnSu5yy1uI9AvWtub7h8Brpjn2wqH00RPu-bvr2U8pld-FG3pTw-lwAWG20b981WwSsbyzp6mdTXN6VIW5H33LeAfH4HhKpjlr4SPhozWxvOGuMqz4a7rs2_w/s320/craft+fair+008.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431574696933506114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIE73xhLNezmtJMZZaiMko_Fu7dpk4-JUtlRgNGk3Zj9Uh1TLHql6iOrpcgzRElM_pU5SB-_tw83XjzcTxcTULygLXoG7zeP8DeZlwmI5qMthr5WidSIOtgf5f_8VUYB163jbTB0Snkg/s320/craft+fair+007.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431574348255507762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir3eV2M-uh9ZiP_C1WpgxsaIqfM0vpKuWypdj_ChRuVQrCNY3PkoMuUHmZ8vE875KNEFjJ5_kUm45DZT5ZFW6wJbrKy7mkrOAJllgwfHDpycb8m8fXghYD7MYbsxcZMZ2S6e-pr775uQ/s320/craft+fair+005.jpg" border="0" /> <div></div><div></div><br /><div>I have also been making some Valentines cards to put in a shop nearby that hols a basket of my cards, I really need to make a few more and maybe take them into work. My number 1 resolution is write this blog more often !!! With regards to any others I have 24 more hrs to make my mind up. In the past I have never managed to stick to any I have made so I am going to think very carefully this year and pick things that are realistic.<br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>Christmas was interesting this year, it was on one hand a really lovely time as it was the 1st time in 4 years that we have been with our daughter, however it is a time when you really notice how much you miss family and when you call them on Christmas day and hear them all sitting down together to lunch you feel your heart strings pull. Prior to Christmas, just like everyone else it was a busy time for crafting and I was very glad tonight to put away all the Christmas card trimmings and start looking forward to some spring colours, I even bought a new valentines stamp yesterday.</div><div></div><br /><div>I am just going to post a couple of pictures this week as apart from Christmas cards, which I am sure you are all fed up with, I have not made too much. </div><div></div><br /><div>It was my niece's 4th birthday this week and like most 4 yr olds she is really into fairy's and ballerina's, however she really does not yet know who Tinkerbell is which is why I changed the colours on this one. Unfortunately as yet it has not arrived in the UK but I am hoping she really likes it. Tinkerbell is suspended with invisible thread and spins around showing her 2 different outfits.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421246124931860930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkdQA4M4MF2XI5TlVaHmcKtd7833rf-ec9R4maIwx-zE3ubqqvqOPwKTZXroVt8oRtYVEb4fL3fsYHxhYiiwOTvwOeqDjmAF2RhEg04tbAQ5K24WRzQ1bn4niGKMjbfBguDuU4YUmrJA/s320/5.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421246349121948098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9QHKaP_a0YqdEZaaMAmsicOjMbFppj-p450MFIj8pMKs0uMU9hA0eS_1clAWHaWN7C7x_3GpNrIdEHP84rZ4QJ1evWeXDLI_x9vUaBVZLrKYu3LzjSKB_O8rMLD546M77AuDwiaQZrw/s320/7.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><div></div><div></div><div>I made some fun Christmas cards for the kids, not particularly artistic in their design but made with the children in mind. The snowman is made into a shaker card which my nephew loves shaking, I don't think there will be any seed beads left at this rate. The smaller snowman is a spinning card, so easy to make and so effective.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421242815981809650" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfJ6mkOzAfEflYhphfDtZZ3W_yTdQNm7BS813R4fZwN_Iwbww-tyzBaVtcx2mYBlrKP9bS5yRzj5EczlfF4ykjM1iwMCgoiUJMyNRa1Hi5BpzioohA8gc8B0Xi2jb1rEjLgagr6-QMMw/s320/dec+09+062.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421243071329695074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsQGKGklRsr5Tt0JrCBdhE_Y_GTbRahWiu_TeE5xGfewSAIxIxP4eybajbvSx7Sxe_9q0w9VS_WAbkKingmLdNLYhXqblmf9TBkzhGdGjjfcB04aLmtrP4ld7hcCdOP1sH63TDbev2Ow/s320/dec+09+063.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421243434035390706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXiBE1avYXhJuduhpIoPRzkKrcVD1TlDw_4AGEUebwaOWBMTUdW6eVILiz8jQajB6RAG50Y6_SJ0a7Uospjnb6ICh8tG95K6yGKRJCzrMIixNW8o2sTXqr_Z-B6OeOpQiGPAsFnjD_w/s320/dec+09+066.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421244845555664930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzX81CGYPE8Uy_ak6BHqMqkHg0AVSmtFPD__OESUgxlQ_0OXKr0TbOKhOhJ__0Zx2dYCJ1MDm9Eszf2JZTRxHehSjOq_aIQ_Isu-ZEXUpiDRyEgLrzmgdh6Mu8I51A9fjB4ZZ3d8ZGkg/s320/dec+09+068.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div>One week before Christmas I sold one of the post it frames through a shop I have my cards in, the lady really liked it and went on to order 19 more, all to be ready for the big day. I don't know where the weeks go, I was always told when I was younger that times goes faster when you get older, and I never believed them, well now, I am that older person and it's true ! Since I last wrote I have had a fantastic trip back to the UK to see family and friends. Unfortunately there was not enough time to see everyone I wanted too, again it comes back to time going by so quickly. For those I did see, thank you for helping me have a great week and to recuperate and for those I didn't, you will top of my list next time. <div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>Whilst home in England the main purpose was to rest which I did lots of, but I also had the opportunity to see all the family and have our own mini Christmases. Lots of presents were exchanged and we were all spoilt. The best part was though, that all the hand made gifts I made were also opened by the recipients, so I can share them with you all now, as they have seen them.</div><div></div><br /><div>The biggest things I made were 4 individual calenders for Mum, Rose, Chris and Karin. These took many many hours and sorting of the photos was one of the most difficult things. Here are a couple of sample pages to show you. I would not dare to bore you with all 48 pages and 578 letters I cut just for the months ! I did not want to count how many letters in total, think I would have scared myself !</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409554134506277714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpk5hlzUsQa161f9RDEQ5-VJd6bJCq82S0u8ZOLyxXVVFJ76Pe_SHtg4sDEPG2gvx1brc81DL1xXRSUUsFtGIfiFtO9GP4shrNvrt7MQTwsLqaCN-XrBZ9UVHojKupucXO0LTXfmI7Dg/s320/presents+09+049.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409550672150082226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbfZikWIG982XA9wsI7_trX6PyHI3kwwYZ0ieCXGmKmYdsFyblVUnBQEcG0t_Y6SRFDa8OrIR6pXJNWE5n9GQEDf4oEtjOK4Xy6NzkikromA6WVwhxA-TkNxzu9sWhMUdiU2NJ4ZgJVA/s320/presents+09+037.jpg" border="0" /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409556028614990386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLtk47QIQHN77xabdCmDk58mzQhG9mIbJCV-jWmaoUStWCCxhog5wUBKdPbAWRkWtoVKXf-gCf_LUyj4lIVVRNu7COFv6DhONW5pf03CP6Zxje3v9vAugyjlvdo-p-UHPKebgXW5_Ulg/s320/presents+09+048.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409550286801435026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvKTwQP03SxlLpH5w8bho5QeG4sPAIrhhl6L4CAsgWSVW1ezeSbV_Auw3xL56MdhS86oFGexG7qDF6iv-2MhHgqLCKhLTzYulHk83dHeab6W6ogk8lWK_cQwmn2wbCRn0M9Htl1JC93Q/s320/presents+09+032.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409549642844747714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3kYlaUJ-Bh7tkgDMnmv1lrUwoB7SdLBPQns59mZWzneYcxzM5V8xaAEeDk4PO1e17NyhOGUNn1yciGJBokV-bGRTzvtbz2P97ZUXq6c3ijOrLz1QIazyrnLbsoorRxcIEoBtYwTAf2Q/s320/presents+09+027.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>I find making (or buying) presents for my Dad really hard, don't we all?. My Mum came up with the idea of altering his diary, he actually writes in his every day. This one is well travelled, to ensure that the holidays etc were marked correctly my mum posted an English diary to me , I then altered it and took it back with me. A well travelled diary ! I put pictures of all his children and husbands in the front and ALL his grandchildren in the back. This means he can take a look at his family on a daily basis. I think he really liked it.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409545858790769442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTPCNsvnLGYPN7ZJH04AcWCLGdG1h-vi31v15tiR9ZAhR9QryHve2y0YPFAkuTQx0ibKE9_KRwG2jszvD-kE83RIbwB-OvbJvM_NUYyKfpT6IJ8UUM8lP5MrW1gyu2Q6nKaJ994QyJ9A/s320/presents+09+007.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409547585553923522" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDtVrwxo8npKeDm1mQifmGiLdXjslw2i7vnwh6ZmjdGeCVAuOceY6MP5OC-bX5sxEGLX-EkuAw37anFbFXZa4lh4WoJc8nPcUvxF831f9kLaRoWFfF6QnpwxajB5hsR5acGdBW51_Rvw/s320/presents+09+008.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409547972895273698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSYkdb69pniJW32xHhWeKX-nb4gy4_UW2kl6L6VP-XljyZ8kZxlXQlkBIKCIyUztSE6AVhiPTVwX6OENc-nzbsTsj8-Ra6G-af0RMlzT-mS2rOVrcOiDe6L9bompv9db6dQ_4t3Mk-Rg/s320/presents+09+009.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>A candle was next on the list for Kerry, she is really enjoying her time meditating so I thought she could use this, however she has already said she will never burn it ! I have been very busy where possible making lots of crafts, but mostly for Christmas. Now this gives me a little problem, because if I post all my bits and pieces on here, no-one is going to get any suprises ! I have a couple of new cards I have made but aagin they are for peoples birthdays and I really don't want them seeing them here before they drop through the mail box.</div></div><div><div></div><br /><div>So for this week, I am going to share some of my favourite cards I have made throughout this year. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>This beautiful Aurora card was made for my Neice's 2nd birthday, although only 2 she is already very aware of who her favourite princess is. I cut the princess using my cricut. The castle in the corner is actually made into a shaker. I made it by stamping onto white card, then using double sided foam tape and acetate made a window and filled it with confetti. I hope you can see what I mean by the photos.</div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400474829293174226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5dxxz2r4WLExmw7lg-tu9J7MLZC2s0KC8sfJoqGoac2SLLYqSliq0KdYpE0alSqOkXWSigj98AY3QXoj4PB8HNWn9cbfc6E3Yh6xaFxRL_jKUf-f8qiz7WeDF91RLZT7EAsPaGVnCyQ/s320/photo+44+005.jpg" border="0" /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400477083926489666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj6bWuKcvrw97VbEVtVXxgqD9kzNKwsb9ak_OunmDwgjd6OBdkUTwHDeqL58RS2iUQuIOy9xj_mwLSdjf7JyuPceYgXdpwVd9T14KVTki6TpZjs_h7Dsmbya9ZVBrwL7VVrLiI-FyPuw/s320/photo+44+007.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Ariel was next on my list for yet another neice, ( be warned, I have 7 neices and 10 nephews) although this one just turned 24! This is what I call a slider card and is much easier to make than it looks and is soo effective. If anyone would like details please either leave a comment or e-mail me and i will forward them to you.</div><div></div><div></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400473226098883762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe5WMLiOQaXj1pPvOx1J7hMGavGAxqOnH3DXe57d6eb4caYmtI-EYiQJwiCqnKbrKZsFM0E5Gv_8FN9lJ1CL87FMt5qRAt5Ymem5u8KXGDvMbHZN6FmUMUlhlz3GdaUScCwuPUxQSxTQ/s320/Hannh+ad+Laura+21st+002.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400473908811592530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCangP8x-EcAFEUdVaNdB_azamqgufszvwaftvip7yZYuA0QJt1djYF1tDAkshF8vOgEIQs1Bc6h7KHJ0idcPSU6ex4XE5t16ksvO6K8YwdjDtxDpTVBCTYKmKy8VnwnnPr-PBXRuFug/s320/Hannh+ad+Laura+21st+006.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400474357410466834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD8patset7q5UTsREfHC03CZZO4PrO-3KVQJ4tskrybvlxYbHGTYPulN7hz4Zbg6k7HpMa0yeckHNedEVU1phpVeOQs2u-yssUpUcvGGgJQ0S9qCZYMYxygccFhawhywpgAJHiSUSR5Q/s320/Hannh+ad+Laura+21st+008.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Another example of the slider card is this Tinkerbell one. It has been an eventful 3 weeks but the surgery went well and I am now at home recovering and beginning to spend a little more time each day at my craft desk. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their care, thoughts and prayers over these last 3 weeks. Knowing there are so many people that care for me certainly helps the healing process.<br /></div><div>I have been trying to get on top of a couple of Christmas presents whilst I have the time and also as I am hoping to go to the UK for 10 days to finish my recuperation it makes sense to try and take as many with me rather than risk posting them. </div><div></div><br /><div>So far I have just made this Jewellery tin for my niece, good job she is too young to look on here ! (sorry Karin if I spoil your surprise) I bought the tin from Hobby Lobby for about $6 and got a very good friend to make me the cushion for the inside. I then set about decorating the edges and top. It was actually a really easy project and I think it is very effective. Hopefully Princess Emma will enjoy putting all her crown jewels in it.</div><div> </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395192349993925154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7dUyQLwi_F1JGEWmDMzAcQdKNisFsBi-Dp6yQ0HuGHolW3LAHG2tPms3hEa4_amF6no6V5Xiq9MGM2DDaxBSj5giQKa3OCyC84ju13xNYyH0lz41EUoIPnp13emRCCit_6PzuTKWeow/s320/haloween+019.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395193289412317202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0yyLVYV_CKeI3Q0k-OZ1j7qlVEpqP55d_Vkg2HwxAcCG36qErwAZ3vSPFr9ze8im6Fiv5tDNMzVRdCDfAhtEe24vaivPJep-dZZU9q58wi9GPYebYYYLtLrtgxkQjpoTwIsX8H1BnAg/s320/haloween+024.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395195045244741058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDOTBYJX4ojft9rM_54_McKsoxOyBkzJYi5pVpbv0MX4-4qHYoqPKv4XVR-FB0a2_G3tIa-d9VBOy0j5RBrEiPlIG0G3Ehycdpb8SvZ3eXyKx6cvcpEKMHxI7JAaE2AmEZWImej_Zj7Q/s320/haloween+028.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>I have made a couple of these Tic Tac snowmen boxes as little stocking fillers for friends and family. But in true Sue style, (determined and stubborn) I decided I could make card! Well this is the result, I went for very simple and could not believe how much effort and energy it took. By pure coincidence it has 24 crystals on it! I of course told him it was deliberate.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395197500873498434" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6MioWvV8kC3kHbxq-bUzET-vxKA0J7UOZ47U_FKod3zAwfLQ0WiDyRFOydJqgCgcq-pG1TR-VXsZ5N_s2RcDEodtEDbYJMb14lRMUrjgZQTVFE3dZ2jA5bkbx5NdTMGteNgiZ4GSJQQ/s320/haloween+010.jpg" border="0" /> <div></div><br /><div>My Sisters birthday is next week so a card for her was next on the plan, again I had to go for a simple design as for some reason my crafting brain had left me for the 1st week I was home. I am always thinking I should clear out some of my older crafting items, but then I go ahead and make a card with probably my oldest clear stamp. Oh well maybe instead of getting rid of stuff I should just get more drawer space. At this point my DH and DD will scream...... This week I was treated to a night out to the 'Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party' at Magic Kingdom. I have been once before, but I was still in awe of the fantastic decorations, fireworks and parade. I especially liked the hug from Aladdin (A good friend of mine is 'friends' with him) In the UK Halloween is such a small celebration in comparison to here in the USA. It is still quite amazing to me how Halloween parties can run from early September through to Nov 1st and have sooooo many people attend them. This year we decided to join in and try to dress for the occassion, but with only 24hrs notice and no real time to make a costume for 3 , we pulled out all the stops and went as pirates. Not very imaginative but at least we took part. The picture below shows our elaborate costumes.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnsQigUIb2TYu2CqXhDfQ8IiQX00i2Kk-sMUEu9trTOXCvpkndmYpRDNB0EMgyTdLRNoz8NSX_igzWoUnyliW7HSKiwHeR4fPR-0HlVSlZtlOEk004lCUlu9m1SVeIvWIEZlYa5aTrLQ/s1600-h/haloween+014.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386688051138760930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnsQigUIb2TYu2CqXhDfQ8IiQX00i2Kk-sMUEu9trTOXCvpkndmYpRDNB0EMgyTdLRNoz8NSX_igzWoUnyliW7HSKiwHeR4fPR-0HlVSlZtlOEk004lCUlu9m1SVeIvWIEZlYa5aTrLQ/s320/haloween+014.jpg" border="0" /></a> I decided to continue with the theme of the week and make a couple of Halloween cards and a note pad holder to put in the shop where I have a baskets of things for sale. Lets hope they sell. The cards were made using the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cart (cricut) and the pumpkin came from Stretch your Imagination. All the dolls shown this week were cut at 4".<br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386665408051483154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi95ziDi9pEYusaY17muiOIC6bht3YDvExiTujyvKSZwjnuoNEBDPTQDITXvszt3nFO2j3HMJfXXIIKLJPYOmY9DNr5vfly0CXlUPhQZdt44nO1VWfv2LC9NDBFUmbvwoBxcaj8Hokj5w/s320/Just+1+stamp+014.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386664714672934994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinrblOf2z5JXlolfq6ZnMK_0GT_dUTO1fqNdMrVn7qXP1HUXoQgVB0TAfgoRSpIvqEpDdQPGU_RaiRYUy4oCMiNaFpcUINb3yIAOPjx4s6kJ2iHPxsUHnbT7E5E6ALQUvOBgrMApFeTQ/s320/Just+1+stamp+015.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386681981464427474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5rzYau2AVY2x7azo42mnLtA4DBGL7eaaibnv7Pcm7d2Z8RM5SkvSDityTKipLzx_srOgSgH2YOZvR0abb8nI67tJHILrMiadlY0DU4ane5FAd177WO1YftRakFfeOy5npQgJOdMIPiA/s320/Just+1+stamp+008.jpg" border="0" /><br />I again made this next note pad holder as I wanted to show that they don't all have to be Disney based so I tried for something pretty that might appeal to anyone. Time will tell if I am right and it is saleable. It was probably the easiet one of these I have ever made and I think it took me about 20 minutes.</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386682428878577314" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRWojHLQ88_Sq_A2hbTcYQDtWH6x5x-iqKmi6orLGk6mpvSjmadEf1RMGHzOykaP4ETDSJ0Ej_XzUYW75Jo86ThwsBQE1ewB0jWarXaUpeU6y8Enz6oeIp7Eho-M-yFA057v8Cwcw6nA/s320/Just+1+stamp+009.jpg" border="0" />It is my Nephews Birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday Matthew. I have all but given up on making cards for teenage boys as I find them impossible, but Matt is a fantastic tennis player and as I now have the Everyday Paper Dolls Dress Up Cart (cricut) I decided to go for it and make him a card this year. I was really pleased with how it turned out, just hope he likes it. He will now be entitled to learn to drive so stay out of his way !!!</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386680758584328002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidAYVmFqsgkzxElB_w5z2gmCLqqwx-_LT79LV3_fjUg_r6zN190ynu73_Di94iZnOqvE4Ekfd0BamuUgd5o07EVEdbpFU3uLk27nLhRHMtbuCOQbmv5stPtB7B-xT4SJYoqjAzYVokqg/s320/Just+1+stamp+007.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>My last card for this blog is just a simple girls birthday card, again using PPDU. I needed to spend my time this week restocking the cards from the shop, so have not had much time to create and play.<br /><div><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386681466306045586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyN4CPkNruns43Kuj_n3ANWThklV0hpIxYO6K4CDr9gkRt94-lY2Dc1B7N7XPVrxkzy_IP_-O3hex67yFQblbn6HkuSkjmuYgwuBo78f77FJ6XxgMv3iVYa1joXsN809ekx-nrpHpfJw/s320/Just+1+stamp+010.jpg" border="0" /><br />Well I think that's all for tonight, I am heading into the hospital tomorrow for a few days of rest and relaxation!!!! I wish! I am really starting to get to grips with Christmas presents now as I am hoping to maybe get a quick trip back to the UK this side of Christmas, so it makes sense to get them made and take them with me rather than having to post them all. I really enjoy being able to make gifts for people rather than having to keep looking around the shops trying to decide on what to get. I just hope my family enjoy receiving them as much. Managed to get to a Hobby Lobby yesterday for more than just 5 Minutes, its a good job there is not one close by me. It was fantastic and I got some really good bits and pieces. <div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>This 1st picture is of a scrapbook frame I made my hubby for his birthday. The Vinyl record is actually the original I have had for more than 25 yrs and I used to play it over and over and over again, listening to the words when I was hoping and dreaming he would notice me. He eventually did and the anniversary of our engagment is today (25 yrs ago). He really liked the frame and I think it was made more special by the fact that it was the original that I have kept all these years. Heres to the next 25 years.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381671857220868322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoZbnoIXq9yF-Lkg16bI1iK-PMOjAvuiMvs1jmk6VdGwvOGQLN8MnWqtj90_WtpPY6lhLA_uWwQezD6VLRiU0fCgFG4Kdr4IQu2oe8VXrNELm9Nf8AM84T7rq9JccYd9YU294fMo0lqA/s320/IMG_1893.JPG" border="0" /> <div></div><div>This recipe tin was my next project. I really enjoyed doing this although it was quite a challenge. Covering the lid was the hardest part but I think the finished project was well worth the effort.</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381668382754886370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiJ4NOrwp8y_VTeOCj81TwjqH5PdYL5LdNJbb-Gc6Dt5BD6yUtxoB0zy3DmdYlQI1SHvfSZ3bVIZ60JPbrKoSnpbad9_v1nPTMf-dcaJyOwy1p2eKfe6aS9m-R8B0m_kc8BHtFfzekJg/s320/IMG_1867.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381668953910351138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoi8aRJUuvdmrddq9igLrlppE61L3xxh3rS-2fL7QYAJJGtRtY4eCQZe7IVBhT1qJjYKzjGcOJISLKJCsz_RndFiXCX3eEYqOarlDRhjcHnj2_ctqqa4mDitZePBnDrq6Ub-zes5ZF3Q/s320/IMG_1868.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381669439754173666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkuyqkrcD-7C0a6wX813e05CIyQOK3f1qnLzZbRU0sgkoUunK5aye9r4emOJAX0ZNP5BX7uRJ1Jcod1y2GiXam_S4fZgwjPYXTcH8dn_mE_E3vy6uLPFFNv_6S61lYAFc3CpvNhW6EzA/s320/IMG_1870.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381670138624576946" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfBEjsfqZzn_qnbQkuG2vdHrjiLkCwSs6aM_zG-D_lffY571c9ZM_n9Vyec1Dc0_aJFNSwAQsRIblfQoG3yR2eV6dulcKLOpZW_Fdg6iY0a5m5IMOc_JFJUzUaOsMvLFk9SMqt_tq7LA/s320/IMG_1875.JPG" border="0" /> <div></div><div>I made a couple more of these post it notes stands this week as an order for work. It seems that no sooner do I think I have finished the orders, then someone else orders one. Its great; I'm not earning enough to retire just yet but every penny counts. Going to make a Halloween frame today so looking forward to making a different style.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381671177831998610" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEbbpim44C9XugVU-l93I1yCn7edIs7KwbtRV25LEbEKtf8mumm6qzYYFUZOvKBnm8_XY77e-wPwanGIn0kEHej81cngJ3VB6ruwSdSASbEjwLllAUAd39I2OpNRno9fg7TpPiy50KSA/s320/IMG_1866.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381670618994952242" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLxqWeTmTEnWXCifIx4QMCagePSGbOI7CrkANJrJVrRHI7cU4cB8v2SPpHCa-ymMsZwlnEgcan61K8YsAhamnJrvtgR5j9GRmzRM04viL7NdiUabkeS9-xi5lktWfS7bWkB_YuWzwdOw/s320/IMG_1864.JPG" border="0" /> <div></div><br /><div>Finally for this blog are these really cute hanging decorations. I bought the baubles at Michaels and had not realised they had a flat front. It worked out ok in the end and they were so easy to do. Still too hot to be outside for too long but the evenings are beginning to draw in and with the darker evenings the cooler weather starts. How I just love still getting up every morning to clear blue skies, it really makes your day start well.<br /></div><br /><div>I decided this week to have a really good tidy up in my craft room and as it looked so nice and clear, I took some photos to show you all where I create all my bits and pieces. Believe me it never stays this tidy for long. I am one very lucky lady to have all this space and an ever patient husband when I tell him 'I really do need another set of drawers.' Having showed a couple of people at work some pictures they all commented how organised I was, well let me tell you with this much stuff I really need to be or I would never find anything. I think that probably 98% of all this craft stuff was actually shipped here from the UK. The only real additions since we have been here is my Cricut and cartridges, oh and of course paper. I will NEVER have too much paper. My motto is to 'always buy 2 sheets, one to cut and one to look at'.</div><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheFcMrP7UZmxo60POD1emDXNUJNp06Bz04fAxoogyRo097gNEWT0f3r3K2M-Hl8_Ts1rlnoqfk2vyABbmK-MldOyLUI1TVZ8UVWMBIGgIO5clqY53BwzZxTp0_0ru7tXEY3fx9s31sCA/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+200.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380020179681578930" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheFcMrP7UZmxo60POD1emDXNUJNp06Bz04fAxoogyRo097gNEWT0f3r3K2M-Hl8_Ts1rlnoqfk2vyABbmK-MldOyLUI1TVZ8UVWMBIGgIO5clqY53BwzZxTp0_0ru7tXEY3fx9s31sCA/s320/birthday+suprises+200.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380020669201100882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji9Cz-HKifFvgYvQbWLDTqj7dvMr5kOA_WfTob-L_aC7h3Mu8DI6C6aT4ib5gQS03B-1Up_GfzJB9bS9KDaoE0fSweL2zO4d2bgd3yQEBFjt6_HL1mQYS_ER-zWDQIzZpnosWjV39TKg/s320/birthday+suprises+201.jpg" border="0" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6mDPXu-7thKofrqPEEKWDlLw24EUh_Wh8DOERkru5PsZgtLHCZxYo6iDCsf5_lnk850tmXO4xTxF-wbO9ydiDhiWVPBIhofWaYBAkevbNEL3tOy23L_X3iR7X9a0kvKG_8JbLpHQkA/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+207.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380022930852096082" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6mDPXu-7thKofrqPEEKWDlLw24EUh_Wh8DOERkru5PsZgtLHCZxYo6iDCsf5_lnk850tmXO4xTxF-wbO9ydiDhiWVPBIhofWaYBAkevbNEL3tOy23L_X3iR7X9a0kvKG_8JbLpHQkA/s320/birthday+suprises+207.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV4ShWRHYL0Kt9HuhvkcpWvU6htJwAvFiZjGv8YOm88kBhcf7qfG371-ubFwwfzr_OYBoachTOdKArLyL4eD1C5OATEKBC7rXWuBJlNEV8z5ogWtcZCS3DkT4VgTdc7eNcF_TKFkhRyQ/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+205.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380021783293977746" style="WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV4ShWRHYL0Kt9HuhvkcpWvU6htJwAvFiZjGv8YOm88kBhcf7qfG371-ubFwwfzr_OYBoachTOdKArLyL4eD1C5OATEKBC7rXWuBJlNEV8z5ogWtcZCS3DkT4VgTdc7eNcF_TKFkhRyQ/s320/birthday+suprises+205.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfzzIGhuyE3GiYNvuDmJuEoNfe28R5QfV5ONl6Rl6CPkd5HtTYeqFoxyKFPZG1VlaVmloOPpsEHu8v4GhoGzV6FdIt85eshCynwAU3Ayv-bNGeXQKXNHZaDkkBnZKuDmzXrcz6_9Q89w/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+203.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380021222339488530" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfzzIGhuyE3GiYNvuDmJuEoNfe28R5QfV5ONl6Rl6CPkd5HtTYeqFoxyKFPZG1VlaVmloOPpsEHu8v4GhoGzV6FdIt85eshCynwAU3Ayv-bNGeXQKXNHZaDkkBnZKuDmzXrcz6_9Q89w/s320/birthday+suprises+203.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQYgPI0inQLUIklXhqGM1BR3vaxmqtVurtaQFe2gL6FPQdpk413leJG1HQ4jIyuTfdjTEAA9g4uuvIHhrmda-uW2ib4A9riRYRCkkgRgZf68pBFQ7JDdRh8GyLMx1neD5MO75wwrqLWQ/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+213.jpg"></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimP3cKBMjx3mFxW3gbe0AHaADpDJNKT-zc5N5eVwHrkxDrzSay2X3rkHfaTDMnam51kGxHepxo8RJYE197Gk8cJZ6-4wNJPF5hprrJ4nIibLDTmBDVyMl3W3AZA7txpQV-CnLrYmf3XQ/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+213.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380030345753474178" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimP3cKBMjx3mFxW3gbe0AHaADpDJNKT-zc5N5eVwHrkxDrzSay2X3rkHfaTDMnam51kGxHepxo8RJYE197Gk8cJZ6-4wNJPF5hprrJ4nIibLDTmBDVyMl3W3AZA7txpQV-CnLrYmf3XQ/s320/birthday+suprises+213.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzNgRYJoKZi_9v6Eje3sAXXT2hupI-vkGV8AteObTgASEyo2QZZlShPNvzs4kY0tlCcUdti9tVp1ybxS30TbifScC1NeemtYfTKld2HQN2JN1DQLfScx_glfZy_C8p6ajzh3Y4L2Fv1w/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+216.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380022513992275010" style="WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzNgRYJoKZi_9v6Eje3sAXXT2hupI-vkGV8AteObTgASEyo2QZZlShPNvzs4kY0tlCcUdti9tVp1ybxS30TbifScC1NeemtYfTKld2HQN2JN1DQLfScx_glfZy_C8p6ajzh3Y4L2Fv1w/s320/birthday+suprises+216.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><br /><div>I have still been busy making photo and Post It note frames for friends, family and orders from people at work. It has been a busy couple of weeks, we had my sister to stay, John and I both became another year older and Hannah left for University to do her Junior year. It's no wonder John and I are feeling tired. I have still had a little time to do some crafting so will share some pictures of what I've been up to along with some great pictures of my birthday celebrations.<br /><div><div><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374820970825576018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6t4ph11dVHF1oQTYUu4YtNgCXxTMGsWsbXnljBcoAOKfmdVkenbJk6uwngFFCime_vRl1nhBlCmIbiHmrGAK2Wwu4uGp8wfVFaUCs1iABGvaLUhOcYdmAc2gccYtn6qlQTs9BlX5zWQ/s320/birthday+suprises+004.jpg" border="0" />Ok, so yes I got a Tattoo.... YIKES ! It has been a long time coming and I have been thinking about it for a few years on and off, but finally decided having had a pretty rough year I would get this one to mark my birthday and to celebrate having survived this last year and to remind me that I can continue to fight. The Dragonfly is to represent freedom and the 2 small hearts are to show my love for John and Hannah. A bit soppy I know but its for me and no-one else.</p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBshJ5Q23bgkuEh57mVFUWtlEtM3Hwww5flJa-jDubdYhrFNsHLT_y9_SFlrpyMyhL9hbXMNxKLuv7kL_ztmE5C0zVlJC7XOUBEiQJgFvPONCfZd6UJFGzY5XTmDGzKLgzxXDsMtnbJQ/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+194.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374823356370775234" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBshJ5Q23bgkuEh57mVFUWtlEtM3Hwww5flJa-jDubdYhrFNsHLT_y9_SFlrpyMyhL9hbXMNxKLuv7kL_ztmE5C0zVlJC7XOUBEiQJgFvPONCfZd6UJFGzY5XTmDGzKLgzxXDsMtnbJQ/s320/birthday+suprises+194.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrR5E71hIUK6J4sDxoAtmt54NPVt-4nHmcDYy6K0I5gfcFSTjc4yEsYSxRShzHcS7dDLwl9i7X4h4eJHUcMIQ835qmuMh4a9NthCXSaoet9YzS-TT14nuJu77uQBI_cot1NCmNpP3A5Q/s1600-h/birthday+suprises+177.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374822709908618786" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrR5E71hIUK6J4sDxoAtmt54NPVt-4nHmcDYy6K0I5gfcFSTjc4yEsYSxRShzHcS7dDLwl9i7X4h4eJHUcMIQ835qmuMh4a9NthCXSaoet9YzS-TT14nuJu77uQBI_cot1NCmNpP3A5Q/s320/birthday+suprises+177.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374838251607200290" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj96yJyM63Fxq3t4lvwctuAP7fHtSKQj0pT049wgqSyzir3gHxe79JzxyDvs8VfkaIuyFzwv3GXLdHn0Y2dtYC3d4WhN674P-TpToU-cO-1tC2JSIwi0hmqN1UpZkKXtmZXaAGPYn5klw/s320/birthday+suprises+191.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div>We had a great night out at Kouzzina, the new greek restaurant by Cat Cora at the Boardwalk. My sister Kerry arrived with her hubby Neil and son Bradley this week and it is sooooo nice to see some family, that is the hardest part about living away from the UK. Thank God for msn and web cams which make it all a bit more bearable. Just a couple of pictures to post this time so here goes..<br /></div><div>I have made this frame for Kerry as a belated birthday pressie, she really seemed to like it, and for those who are not aware Kerry and I are actually 'step' sisters (how I hate that word !) but you would never know it. We have been together since I was 6. The sentiment on this frame is so relevant for us.</div><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369965447359574146" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFkxqwrMCwhjafhoOAhPnq12Ezol1pwj0LBQI7Ap09PcKR8khILbDABOrTL193pp_RzsOnGoRaKqA3C8IFrrQhStkUZRJPY5wY9INPkXgcCsiVazxIJT8ypXqWhBI7GBFDq49nDvykAg/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+199.jpg" border="0" />This card below is for a friend at work (Disney) who loves Belle, she would actually make a very good Belle. As I said before I have been busy making some of these Paper Dolls for people at work, so here are some more examples. All of these have been made to order. The 'Kiss' ones are for the husband of a work friend who is obsessed with the band.<br /><div><div><div><div><br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367026132604653090" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvXchr8FokXW7QQYoG98-i6ynO5Gyhsdr1J1UpIbcP5NsSi8ZsZOqQsjSt6-5KfHMhayaky-eCBpibAkT8RQTnGeiuQMeGUaeZeGuF3xh3q-gd6bfi_aPtlmfBq939vQsxJ5nbwK5GRg/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+114.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><br /><p>This one is of Jason, another Brit at work who has an obsession with 'skips' so I took an empty packet and tried the old trick of shrinking it in the oven. It didn't work quite as well as I expected but you get the idea.</p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367035292634702370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjygKf_cDRt74g0ZwiZWjJ9JioSM8o0WEBGDP1Srsp_D5YLcg0r4j1NOeeCC5SB5qCW6tZjUbGpziUDNzYAouErPwTEFP-g7EBHfHiJwtqUyC00FwpIIQ0O4XKQTOvQlUhmxuwo19ep8g/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+044.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div>I might add , he wanted to be done with a miserable face, it was not my interpretation of how he looked.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367036083118665554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-69kGwEucl6vOv4tD7stpYg0-FMbptGUHlVZnnlpI1Fj22F5oJJ-p19XnKfsb2WiR4E4KqBL3QYEhFwc-K7cO1xACALdNEG7DgP7NH1p4-Qb4UCXjGLfL9qmkqw1Ua6oji_WZP98ucA/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+047.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>This one is supposed to be Dr Who, Peter Davison, again for someone at work. I think this one turned out well when you compare it to the pictures of him I could find on the internet. </div><p>Now for a couple of cards I have made, this was for a friend who is expecting her 1st baby, which is obvioulsy going to be a girl ( well lets hope so now !)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367028803827591554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhanME4YLghKierHUHsyaJVVkjINOyl4oQB9mEumJ_zVgWaOHoujUYer3AgnpB7UzUnGrXtwlx_jO6wGg-SDrOfnyp-ic9qEvcBHew1xI1L0UyCIV5_rdulZrdCCCBy38ClaA1upCFVnw/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+173.jpg" border="0" /></p></div></div><div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367029428113567378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtmPPXhyphenhyphenk_ck_TA6XIxyeKN6OXIRAEfoy7h27TW5VuEtwCzZbr6hsoCi7mbjDhxtwLgNj6Um2tQxHb1ZNkCP5qUScQonJ18YQJE4xHp9z5aceH57RIB363dJA_NiMhxee5SMerIAyDQw/s320/epcot+028.jpg" border="0" />This is my MIL's birthday card for this year, I am finding harder and harder to make for the family as I am worried I will repeat a style, mind you with my family I am sure they would soon let me know !</div><p>Thanks to all the people over on the Cricut message board I have also been picking up general craft ideas and playing around with them. This was my 1st 'Post It' holder and was so easy to do. Again I made this for a Jason, my Brit friend at work. It sits very nicely on his desk and as yet it has not been stolen, broken or removed, which is nothing short of a miracle ! I am beginning to take orders all over the place of these as early gifts for Christmas, so get your order in now if your interested. You can have any colours or designs including most 'Disney Characters'<br /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367032093039730178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisvGxLRU7IfSiFDu72VtNXJxg_3SduHCb2N5H9EGEgxiLkDgejVMlWgO69_gyDhrcqjqwKiHAJWgv7P38ZS2uV7g4HBSGnL6lyipv9wOmEi1lK66W8-ekxR64_VdkEAwGtTDNH5l5JCA/s320/crafts+paper+dolls+159.jpg" border="0" />Well I guess I better stop rambling and get on with some more work. Really getting excited now as family arrive in just 6 days. I also hope to catch up with an old 'pen friend' I have known since I was 11 who happens to be coming to Orlando for a holiday. I have not met up with Jacqui for more years than I care to think about so it will be a nice opportunity to see how our lives have changed. All this excitment in 1 week ! I better start getting some early nights. Will try to post again at the weekend.<br /></p><br /><br /><br /><p></p></div></div>suehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05026351753307683452noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8164282428134367843.post-15603526160238935942009-08-01T18:10:00.002-04:002009-08-01T18:53:03.973-04:00Time Flies By So QuicklyI can't quite believe more than a month has gone by since my 1st blog and I have not managed to write anything ! Life has been busy but not as much as its going to be in the next couple of weeks as I have family coming over on vacation. This I am really looking forward to, but it means I have to be super organized before they get here to get all my work up to date as when family visit especially when you live so close to Disney, there is certainly no time for crafting. <div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>I have been working a lot on Paper Dolls using my Cricut and selling them at work. Take a look at my pictures. Also I made my 1st ever Diaper cake, really pleased with how that turned out. there are also a couple of pictures of random cards I have made over the last month.<br /></div><br /><div>On my next blog I shoul be able to give you my new e-bay store....
